In the past month, David has been hospitalized for five days, my mom's furnace broke, my mom's hot water heater broke, my husband's tire stopped holding air, my husband totaled my car, my cell phone died, my dishwasher broke, Kendra came for a visit and needed ER for a toe infection she had before she came...and all but David's hospitalization was the last 24 hours!
David was in the hospital for a food-borne pathogen called Yersinia Entercolitis, which caused severe psuedoappendicitis syndrome, and mesentery lymphaneditis! Kendra is here for Christmas and has a paronychia..an infection of the toenail bed that should have been take care of long ago! David's hospitalization and illness before hand was probably the most difficult 2 weeks of my life.
*sigh* Okay, 2010, you can go bye-bye now.
